So much more than words!

Rhetoric is no longer phonocentric, logocentric, (etc.)entric.

Just to rif on Aristotle a bit, the means of persuasion we have available to us include a whole lot more than words. Visuals? Well, of course. But more than that too. Its the age-old problem of signifier/signified, although that problem is really a psuedo-problem. A trick to keep us off the track of the real problem. Here's where we pick up the scent of the real problem. . . the embodied experience of rhetoric in action.
